And I would always hug everyone goodbye, just so I can hug you. For three seconds, these arms would feel strong —yet tender— as they try to wrap something so fragile. Silently, I’d feel this different connection overwhelming my body —and probably my body only— drive its way from the tip of my fingers, glued to the contours of your back, to my head. And there, the very seed of this undefined connection would create a fantasy that would consider itself as true. Yet again, my life is set on a slow motion music video, of fireworks and eruption of emotions and urges, that will, sadly, remain un-entertained.
I don’t even need you to hug back.
