He always seemed so perfectly happy. He was always so afraid of appearing miserable because no one would really ever care. But then in reality, he was always so scared of being happy—he felt like gravity would never stop him from getting lost in space. So he clings to every hurtful memory he could remember, revised and reminisced on each hateful word, in hopes that the melancholy would anchor him to the earth.
